This group started out from Goodyear, which is west of the valley, at 9:00am.  The bus ride to Mesa Temple is about 60 minutes.  Once there, the Missionaries were given a tour of the newly remodeled Visitors Center where they could experience first hand the tools available to assist in their teaching.  After the tour, they enjoyed their sack lunches outside and then made their way to the Temple to participate in an endowment session,  After the session, it was back on the bus for a short ride to a buffet where the Missionaries had a grand dinner.....and lots of ice cream.  After dinner it was back on the bus again and back to the Temple to view the Temple lights.  The Mesa Temple was one of the early Temples built by the church and still reflects the architecture from the 1920's both inside and out.  The lights bring members and non-members from all over the state as a favorite family Christmas tradition.  Check the other days of the Christmas Conference for more shots of the lights as well as the Nativity display in the Center.
