A Sisters only meeting was held where they were able to attend an endowment session at the Phoenix Temple.  They also met with President and Sister Gilliland, Temple President and Matron, and receive special instruction regarding the Temple and the importance of the work that goes on there..  Afterwards, a late lunch/early dinner was enjoyed before they returned to their areas with a greater appreciation for the Temple and the work they are engaged in doing.

Everything was in place and all was going well, until Elder Holland tried to leave Salt Lake.  The plane had difficulties which delayed his arrival into Phoenix so , no time to meet with the Missionaries before another meeting.  However, President Lynn G. Robbins of the Presidency of the Seventy, spoke to the Missionaries about agency and responsibility.  Also in attendance was K. Mark Frost, Area Seventy.  A great meeting with the brethren none the less.

Our new Missionaries received additional training this morning and then were introduced to their Trainers.  The other Missionaries waited patiently to find out their new companions.  Always exciting for them to get together and catch up.  Thank you to the members who take the time to transport our Missionaries for Transfer Meeting.
